Boise quartet Ealdor Bealu return with their fourth full-length, Graves of the Silent Plain, a five-track set built from progressive rock, psychedelic rock and stoner rock. The sound is guitar-led and heavy, with Carson Russell, Travis Abbott and Cameron Elgart sharing guitar and vocal duties while Rylie Collingwood anchors the low end on bass. Drums come from Elgart, giving the lineup plenty of room for a thick, riff-focused push through tracks such as “Ponderay,” “Erosion” and “Gold Mountain.”
Recorded at The Chop Shop in Boise by Andy A, then mixed by the band at Hinge Music Studio, the album keeps its production tied to the group’s home scene. James Plotkin handled mastering. It’s a good fit for anyone drawn to desert rock’s dry weight, slow-burning heavy psych and the more expansive side of stoner rock, especially if guitar interplay matters as much as sheer volume. Graves of the Silent Plain is available free in FLAC 16/44, alongside MP3, ALAC, WAV and AIFF downloads. Vinyl and CD editions are also offered, with the release dated July 11, 2026.
