36,6 °C takes Zima Stulecia out of the studio and into the heat of Ciało, the Wrocław club where this five-track set was recorded on 10 February 2024. Latarnik works the synthesizers and samplers while Cancer G handles drums and a Roland SPD-SX, turning the duo’s electronic, house and techno base into something looser and more physical. The pieces came from a live transformation of material first heard on their debut, Minus 30°C, with forms stretched and pushed toward the dancefloor.
There’s a clear sense of escalation across titles such as “Subfebrilia”, “41 °C” and “Hipertermia”, though the appeal is in the performance rather than the concept alone. This is club music with the edges left in, shaped by bodies in a room and the give-and-take of improvisation. Fans of Polish electronic music, live techno and jazz-minded rhythm sections should find plenty to get into, especially if polished studio control isn’t the main attraction. Astigmatic Records releases it on 28 August 2026, with Maciej Jakimiuk handling recording and sound work, Latarnik mixing, and Marcin Kwazar mastering.
