Jamie Paige’s Constant Companions (Deluxe Edition) is a Chicago-made electronic pop release, written and recorded by Paige and released on July 11, 2025. Its palette pulls together art pop, synthpop and breakbeat, with synthesized voices carrying both lead and backing parts rather than appearing as a minor production detail. Paige used Synthesizer V, VOCALOID6 and OpenUTAU, drawing on voicebanks including ANRI, GUMI, Solaria, Kasane Teto and Adachi Rei.
The first twelve tracks form the main set, while five bonus tracks extend the deluxe edition with “BIRDBRAIN,” “Shiny Chariot,” “Strawberry,” “Manifesto” and “Dance Delightful.” There are guest appearances from telebasher, Marcy Nabors, Marlow Jacobs and OK Glass, alongside performances from unit.0, Visualeyes, Soneji of Project Mikan and ash taylor. That makes this a natural pick for people already deep into Vocaloid and virtual singing software, but the art-pop and indie-pop framing gives it a wider entry point than a software showcase. Marcy Nabors also handled mastering. The paid release is available digitally in lossless formats, with CD and two-LP editions for anyone who wants the physical version.
