Reflex Blue arrives on RM12014 as an Australian electronic artist with a four-track release for Leipzig’s R.A.N.D. Muzik Recordings. The label places it in cosmic progressive house, and the source tags add glitch to the picture, suggesting a club-focused set with a digital edge rather than a straight, functional house workout. Reflex Blue has been active since 1996, so the label’s newcomer billing feels more like an introduction to its audience than a claim about a new producer.
The tracklist moves through “Implant”, “Back 2 Earth”, “Into the Void” and “Gore”, with the titles pointing towards the release’s spacebound angle without pushing it into soundtrack territory. Four tracks gives the record a tight shape, and the paid digital edition is joined by a vinyl LP for anyone who prefers this kind of electronic music in a longer-form physical format. Progressive house listeners should find the most obvious entry point here, while the glitch tag may appeal to people who like their dance music slightly less polished and predictable.
