Released on its own KISS THIS! label, Buffalo Rock City – "Dienasty" gives the 1979 KISS album a full front-to-back remake. The Buffalo-rooted project brings together local fans and musicians from further afield, with guest turns from Ace Frehley alumni Ryan Spencer Cook and Philip Shouse, plus Alice Cooper associates Tommy Denander and Tommy Henriksen. It’s a sizeable cast, with different singers and rhythm sections across the ten tracks.
The set opens with the familiar disco-leaning pull of "I Was Made For Lovin' You", then moves through "2,000 Man", "Sure Know Something" and the deeper cuts before closing with "Just Begun To Fight". The presentation stays in hard rock and glam rock territory, built around guitars, bass, drums, keyboards and a rotating set of vocalists rather than one fixed band sound. Three songs carry 2026 remaster credits, while "Just Begun To Fight" is marked 2026. KISS collectors will find the appeal in the complete album sequence and the changing lineup, especially the appearances from musicians tied to Ace Frehley and Alice Cooper. The paid edition is available in FLAC 16/44, alongside MP3, ALAC, WAV and AIFF, with a CD option too.
