Holy Tongue bring together Valentina Magaletti, Susumu Mukai and Al Wootton for music that refuses to settle. Recorded between the Swiss Alps and London, Basilikum builds from vintage drum machines and improvised takes, letting dub production blur into trance repetition, post-punk tension and something close to ritual. Rashad Becker's mastering keeps the rawness intact.

Dali De Saint Paul's voice appears on two tracks, adding a human grain to the machine pulse underneath. Elsewhere the trio work through long-form pieces that shift between hypnotic loops and wide-open space. The drums stay physical, the editing stays loose, and nothing commits to a single style for long. It moves like a live set that has been shaped in the studio rather than constructed from scratch.

AD 93 continues to back work that sits outside easy categories. This one pulls from Popol Vuh's scale, from dub's echo logic, from the kind of free playing that trusts the room. It works if you want rhythm that does not resolve neatly or texture that keeps changing shape.

Holy Tongue improvise between dub, trance and ritual percussion across eight tracks of shifting, physical rhythm work.
