woob mono’s Monochrome 全 プログラム comes from the UK electronic artist active since 2020, and carries the catalogue mark ISO04/06M from Isometric. woob produced and designed it, with recording credited to Catastrophe. The 20-track sequence moves between Japanese and English titles, giving the release a deliberately coded, programme-like feel without needing much explanation around it.
The music is tagged as ambient, downtempo, electronica, synthwave and vaporwave, so expect a slow electronic set built more around sustained textures and synthetic colour than conventional song form. The accompanying concept leans into that idea, presenting a new S P A C E program spread across three tracks and 22 minutes, alongside a sleep aid, a reverse sleep program and earlier Kimura-Aoki sessions. It’s a sizeable package, and the fictional institute framing will appeal to anyone who enjoys their electronic music with a bit of world-building around it. People coming from woob’s earlier work, or from the softer edges of vaporwave and synthwave, should find a natural entry point here. Digital editions include FLAC, ALAC, WAV and AIFF, while the release is also available on one or two vinyl records, with digital included when the vinyl is purchased.
