Cecily Renns' Shinwoo III comes from The MB Archives, a free release dated 21 March 2025 and described as LP3.3 in the artist's catalogue. It works in the overlap between pop, bitpop, electropop, synthpop and indietronica, so expect programmed beats, bright electronic tones and a deliberately off-centre take on love songs. The tracklist moves from “Homecoming” and “Runaway” to “The Future” and “Coming Back”, with “The Tide” given an extended dance mix that features vocals from InkyFirefly and Memo Vivere, plus guitar from The Olive Oil Mafia. That guest-heavy cut looks like the obvious floor-filler, at least on paper.

The Korean-language “사람들은 모두 변하나봐 People All Change” was written by 봄여름가을겨울, adding another angle to a set otherwise credited to Cecilia Julian Renns for music and words. “Film Fest” and “The Why” round out the eight tracks, while Biddy Fox handled mastering and Dirgi made the cover. Renns has been active since 2022, and the release's South Korean and furry-music tags place it in a small, internet-shaped pop world rather than a conventional mainstream lane. Fans of synthetic pop with a bit of chiptune colour, unusual vocal pairings and no concern for tidy genre borders should find plenty to investigate, especially in the free FLAC edition.

Cecily Renns turns a free pop release into a strange, synthetic set of love songs, with Korean lyrics and an extended dance mix.
