Ingolstadt's Hazeshuttle make the kind of heavy psychedelic rock that leans hard on fuzz, doom and space rock. Their self-titled release has five tracks, from the bluntly titled "Homosativa" to the cosmic "Alpha Centauri" and closing "Moonrocks". The available tags point to a slow-burning, weighty approach rather than polished modern rock, with the stoner rock edge kept firmly in view.
This was recorded live at Landesakademie Berlin, then mixed by Feinschliff-Musikproduktion and mastered by Oakfield Mastering. That live setting should appeal to anyone who prefers a band sound with some physical push behind it, especially fans of doom metal, psychedelic rock and space rock. Hazeshuttle have been active since 2020, and this 2023 release makes a straightforward case for turning the volume up, as the band themselves recommend. It’s a paid release available as MP3 320, FLAC 16/44, ALAC, WAV and AIFF, with a CD edition also offered.
