Sulphur has been at this since 1994, and HARD43 sounds like someone who knows exactly how to lock a dancefloor without breaking a sweat. Four tracks of garage house that lean hard into speed garage territory, all skittering hats and swung kicks that feel like they're pulling against each other before snapping into place. 'Dat Luv' and 'Inna Feeling' are the ones that really push the tempo, while the Captain Wallop collab 'Godfather' drops into something heavier, almost tech house in its restraint. The whole thing has that hand-stickered vinyl energy, limited to 300 copies, mastered at Optimum and distributed through One Eye Witness. If you're after clean, reactive dance music that knows its history but isn't stuck in it, this hits. The 16/44 FLAC is worth grabbing because those low-end details matter when the mix is this tight.
