Yuval Banay's Hebrew-language rock album, אודיסאוס של הרכבת התחתית, is built around his own words and melodies, with Banay and Ronen Rot sharing production. The eleven-song tracklist moves through titles about death and sex, open relationships, changing rules, a metropolis and city lights, giving the set an unmistakably urban frame without losing the directness of a songwriter-led band record.
The credited lineup keeps the palette grounded. Nitzan Bar handles electric and acoustic guitars, bass and piano come from Shay Hazan, and Dani Makov plays drums and percussion. Backing vocals appear across several tracks, while accordion enters on עוזב את הכת, adding a different colour to the guitar-and-rhythm-section core. Rot recorded and mixed the album at Pluto Studios, with mastering by Greg Calbi and Steve Fallone. Banay has been active since 1997, and this release comes through his own label, with distribution by Nענע דיסק and a vinyl LP alongside the paid digital editions. It should appeal to listeners looking for contemporary Israeli rock in Hebrew, especially when a full band setup matters as much as the writing.
